“Why do sophisticated senior risk professionals keep missing what’s coming?”
They’re trapped in left-brain frameworks — quantitative models, historical data, regulatory checklists — while the risks that matter most emerge in conditions of turbulence, uncertainty, novelty, and ambiguity. You can’t model your way out of that. You have to see it.
The Framework
Most risk failures aren’t failures of data or frameworks. They’re failures of attention — the capacity to see what’s emerging before it fits the model. Right-Brained Risk is the practice of building that capacity into ERM programs and the people who run them.

Interim CRO or project basis
02
Build your team’s capacity for right-brained risk — the broad, vigilant attention that sees emerging threats before they materialize. Cross-disciplinary thinking, scenario planning, and the courage to name uncomfortable truths.
Workshops and coaching engagements
03
Targeted analysis of specific emerging risks your current framework doesn’t capture. AI and grid capacity. Digital supply chain exposure. Geopolitical scenario planning. The unseen risks that require outside perspective.

Trading systems, policy administration, and claims processing run on cloud infrastructure in grid markets facing structural stress this summer. The cloud contract, business continuity plan, and business interruption insurance policy weren’t written to work together. When the grid fails, they work against each other.
